Fourth of July in Wichita
Fourth of July is a fun filled holiday that is great for all ages. There are great activities all over Wichita to celebrate, starting as early as Thursday! Here are some of the best things to do over this holiday weekend:
Bradley Fair Concert and Fireworks
Bradley Fair’s annual show starts at 7:30 in the square, Thursday, June 30th. The concert is scheduled to end around 9:30 and a fireworks show will be put on immediately after.
El Dorado Lake Celebration
On Saturday, July 2nd, grab your friends and family and head to El Dorado Lake! It is only $5 per car for a day on the lake. There will be biscuits and gravy served at 7a.m. and a parade at 9a.m. Misfit kitchen will be serving lunch and there will be a showing of ‘The Sandlot’ at 8:30.
Wichita Fourth of July Celebration
Starting at 7p.m. there will be food trucks near the Hyatt Lawn by the river. After the Windsurge game ends, around 9:40, the firework show will begin. Grab your lawn chairs, some dinner and enjoy the show!
There will be several other firework shows from stands and other nearby towns that will be great to attend with friends and family. Or celebrate on your own with BBQ, fireworks and swimming!
